On May 23, thirteen year old Clay Misar was diagnosed with leukemia and began treatments in Sioux Falls. Lake Whitewood Lutheran and sister church First Lutheran of Brookings are having a challenge fundraiser for the Misar Family. The two churches will match dollar for dollar up to $2000 each for the month of June. So for each dollar donated it will become three for Clay and his family. As Clay goes though a month long treatment there will be hardships for his parents and two bothers and sister, for which this fund is intended to help with.
