On Tues., Oct. 4, the De Smet High School oral interpretation team traveled to Arlington to compete in the 2022 Dakota Valley Conference Oral Interpretation Festival. Together, they received a team excellence award and multiple medals for their superior and superior-plus rankings. Homecoming royalty announced
Justine Kougl, Tour of Kindess founder, shared an important message with De Smet students. She reminded them that words make a difference. Students filled the Midstate Theatre in the Event Center. Kougl, with Tour of Kindness, shared a message about how each person can make our world a better place. Her message was specific to the age group that she was speaking to, but her message was CHOOSE KINDNESS for everyone.
