Kingsbury County business will be in the spotlight

Looking for something to do this weekend? Looking for a job? Are you interested in discovering the many different businesses there are in Kingsbury County? Do you have a business in Kingsbury County and would like to network with other local businesses? Head over to the De Smet Event Center this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the First Annual Kingsbury County 2022 Business Expo.

Our goal for this event is not only to showcase all the businesses in Kingsbury County to the public, but also to provide the businesses with an opportunity to network with other local businesses in our county. There will be no cost to the exhibitors or the attendees. It will be a free event for everyone and sponsored by the Kingsbury Journal.

WHAT IS THE KINGSBURY
COUNTY 2022 BUSINESS EXPO?

We are hoping the Kingsbury County 2022 Business Expo will become an annual event. It is a free event for exhibitors and attendees. It is an Expo that allows businesses and residents to see what going on in Kingsbury County. Seeing all the products and services that are provided right here in our own county should provide the business or attendee with the knowledge of local business they can use, and items and services that are provided locally.

The event is also designed to be a business to business (B2B) event. Networking businesses with other local providers will boost our local economy. Display your business and wander through the other exhibits. Is there a product or service that could be beneficial for yours? Could you talk to them, network, form teams or partnerships? That is what the show is designed to do. Help our county businesses and boost our local economy.

Are you looking to make a career change for the better? Businesses will be on hand to recruit employees and conduct on-site interviews. A visit to the Business Expo could get your career on track.

Have you ever wondered about products produced right here in Kingsbury County? Come to the Event Center Saturday and see some of the many local businesses. Some businesses will even have products or services for sale.

Global companies, child entrepreneurs, sole proprietors, retail, manufacturing, agriculture - if they produce or sell a product or service in Kingsbury County, they will be there highlighting their businesses.

Non-profits and agencies that provide services and operate in Kingsbury County will be on hand to share their services with the guests.

Political candidates will be on hand to answer those burning questions you have been wishing to ask before you cast your ballot. Visit with them, talk with them and challenge them; hopefully you will walk away as an informed voter.

WHO CAN ATTEND THE SHOW?

The actual Expo will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sat., May 21, 2022, to the public free of charge. The more people who attend the Kingsbury County 2022 Business Expo, the more it promotes our local businesses, our local workforce and our local economy.

WILL THE CONCESSION
STAND BE OPEN?

Yes, the concession stand will be open for snacks and beverages. Stop on by for lunch. Money raised in the concession stand stays with that organization 100%.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO IF
I AM PLANNING TO ATTEND?

First things, first. Mark your calendar for Sat., May 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. You do not need to set aside any money for tickets because it is a free event sponsored by the Kingsbury Journal. Then, attend the event, learn about the businesses and services offered in Kingsbury County and have fun at the Expo.
