The Arlington Cardinals (8-8) travelled to Lake Preston (6-11) Thursday night to take on the Lake Preston Divers. The Cardinals came out on top with a score of 73-51, leading through all four quarters. Arlington led by seven points at the end of the first quarter with a score of 16-9 and expanded that lead to eight at half-time with a score of 32-24. Scoring 25 points during the 3rd quarter, Arlington jumped ahead 57-37.
Jasper Denison led the Divers with 16 points while Carter Malone added another 15. The Divers shot 37% from the field and 48% from the line. Cardinal Ryker Erstad led his team with 36 points, and Mason Bunker had 19 points.
Cardinals outrebounded the Divers 36-19. Denison led the Divers with seven rebounds. Chris Wallace led the Cardinals with 12 rebounds. Malone and Jake Larsen each had four steals with a team total of 13.
