With the terribly high wind on Sunday, the air was filled with dust from the plowed fields. At times, it was so bad you could hardly see the road. Very reminiscent of the “Dirty Thirties.”
The Sunday school was restarted again for the first time since the first shutdown back in April. Rev. Rickert of Brookings was the speaker on Sunday. Communion was held, and a congregational meeting was called to order after the service.
Janice White of Brookings accompanied her mother, Rose Grothe, to Aberdeen last Saturday where they visited with the Dale Martens. Mr. and Mrs. Eric Martens and family of Watertown and Mr. and Mrs. Brian Rawerts and family of Aberdeen were also present.
