The Feeding South Dakota truck will be making another stop in Kingsbury County next Wednesday, June 24. The organization makes stops in the county the fourth Wednesday of each month.

Distributions will take place at the Arlington United Methodist Church from 9:00 a.m. -10:00 a.m.; the Lake Preston Fire Hall from 10:30 a.m. -11:30 a.m. and, in De Smet, from noon -1:00 p.m. on Wilder Lane on the south side of Washington Park. Please enter Wilder Lane from the east and exit by the hospital.

At all locations, organizers ask that everyone stay in their vehicles, and someone will load the food box for them.

The food pantry on Calumet Avenue in De Smet is open Tuesdays from 1:00-4:00 p.m., curbside pickup only. If possible, please call (605) 203-1993 for an appointment to avoid too many people at one time.

The food pantry in Lake Preston is located in the rear of Sharper Image Barber Shop on Main Street. The pantry is open from 1:00-5:00 p.m. on the third Friday of every month. In an emergency, call the Lake Preston Lutheran Church office at (605) 847-4587.

In Arlington, the food pantry is located in the United Methodist Church at 202 S. 4th Street. The pantry is open from 2:30-4:30 p.m. every Tuesday. The phone number at the church is (605) 983-5471.
