Get ready for the Smoke Out

Kingsbury Journal is hosting a smoke out in the park Sat., Aug. 6, 2022, at 6 p.m. at Thorsnes Park, Lake Preston. Teams will be cooking up and serving over 600 pounds of ribs, with sides and desserts also available.

• De Smet VFD

• De Smet Rescue

• Oldham Firex’

• Checkered BBQ

• Jeremy Woodcock

• Bubba Hildebrandt

• Honey Do BBQ

Along with the delicious ribs, there will also be coleslaw and baked beans.

The Lake Preston FFA will be selling water and soda, and adult beverages will also be offered for purchase.

Dessert will be available from Prairie Poppers (Connie Halverson) and Savahnah Eastwood.

The Kingsbury Journal invites everyone to come and enjoy good food and a night out in the park.
