Home of the brave

The De Smet Volunteer Fire Department's fireworks display lit the sky behind Deputy Matt Nutter's patrol car Monday evening. Through the efforts of the firemen and generosity of donors, another beautiful display was enjoyed by many. The firemen spent a great deal of time preparing and endured high temperatures in their bunker gear to provide the display for everyone. Support was provided at the event by De Smet Rescue and the Kingsbury County Sheriff's Department.
