How to cook a turkey

Mrs. Fischer’s kindergarten class tell you how to cook your turkey.

Jackson S: I will put the turkey in a pan and cook it for 15 minutes in the oven. I will cut it up and eat it all.
Cambree: I will put the turkey in the oven for 10 minutes at 10 degrees. I will cut it up before I eat it.
Kutler: I will put the turkey in a pan and cook it for 1 hour in the oven. I will cut it up into itty bitty pieces on a big plate.
Weston: I will put the turkey in the freezer and cook it on the stove. I will serve it on a plate.
Jackson P: I will put the turkey in the oven and cook it for 78 seconds. I will give it to my whole family.
Sage: I will put the turkey in a pan and cook it in the oven for 10 minutes at 12 degrees. I will send it in a box on a plate.
Taz: I will put the turkey in the oven and cook it for however my mom wants to do it for. I will put it on plates.
Eli: I will put the turkey in the oven and cook it for 31 seconds. I will cut it up and eat.
Preston: I will put the turkey in the oven and cook it for 10 minutes. I will use forks and spoons to eat.
Harper: I will put the turkey in the oven and cook it for 20 minutes. I will eat it with carrots and a salad.
Madi: I will put the turkey in the crockpot on low heat for 10 seconds. I will serve it on a plate.
Nikoli: I will put the turkey in a pan and cook it on the stove for 10 minutes. I will serve it with salt and pepper.

Second grade is thankful

Deb Olson’s second grade students at Lake Preston Elementary School were asked what they are thankful for. Their responses are as follows:

Carson: I am thankful for my family. I get to spend time with them at the lake.
Kiera: I am thankful for my pets because when I go outside they come to me and that makes me feel excited.
Charlee: I am thankful for school because I get to learn a lot of stuff.
Mya: I am thankful for my family because someone in your family will always be there for you.
Ty: I am thankful for my family because they play with me and that makes me feel joyful.
Emerson: I am thankful for teachers because they help me learn new things.
Heidi : I am thankful for my family because they take care of me. I am also thankful for my dog because he likes to jump on me and that makes me feel amazing.
