Lady Divers post win at Entringer


Lake Preston vs ORR

Turnovers were the Divers’ downfall in the first game of the season at home.

Faith Steffensen put up eight points and 15 rebounds while Hadlee Holt came in off the bench, scoring eight points. Ava Malone added five steals for the Divers. Assists were slim for the Divers, with Trinity Pirlet leading the team with three.

Alivia Bickett was the leading scorer for ORR, with a total of 18 points.

The Divers shot 46% from the field. The final score of the ORR/Diver girls basketball game was 50-28.

Lake Preston vs Elkton

The leading scorer for the Divers was Holt with 11 points; she also pulled down nine rebounds. Steffensen added seven points, and six points came from Marissa Rober. Danielle Odegaard contributed also, with three points.

The steal leader for the Divers was Malone.

The leading scorer for the Lady Elks was Erickson, with 25 points.

The Elks had a final score of 56, with the Divers trailing at a score of 27.

Lake Preston vs ORR

The annual Entringer Classic was hosted in Colman. The Divers played ORR again, and it ended in a victory with a final score of 35-26.

Rober was named Player of The Game with a total of 15 points, six steals and three assists. She also had two blocks.

Holt followed with 10 points and pulled down 15 rebounds for the Divers. Malone led the team with five steals and five assists. The Steffensen sisters both added to the score, and Pirlet knocked down a couple of shots as well.
