As the water temperatures cool, the walleyes are putting on the feedbag in our local lakes. Cody Lauer of Sioux Falls rigged a crawler with a bottom bouncer to catch this 25” fish. Don’t put your boat away just yet; some of the best fishing of the open water season is still to come. When leaving the lake, be sure to drain all the water from your motor and livewell, not only to comply with aquatic invasive species laws, but to keep it from freezing.
