Sharon Lea Hollar, 79, of Las Vegas, Nev., passed on Nov. 11, 2020. She was born June 1, 1941, to Grover R. Denman and Helen F. Bruley Denman in Huron, S.D. She had two sibling brothers, Jim and Randall Denman.
She married Robert Herzog on May 27, 1967. In January 1968, they welcomed their first of four children. From 1969-1976, she and Robert moved throughout Montana, ultimately landing in Choteau, where they purchased an establishment. In 1981, Robert and Sharon divorced. In 1994, she married Raymond Hollar of Choteau, Mont., until his passing in 2000.
Her children were what she cared about most. She enjoyed reading, card games with family and crocheting. Following her retirement, she devoted most, if not all of her time, to her family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Grover; her brother, Randall and her mother, Helen.
She is survived by her brother, Jim Denman of Rapid City, S.D,; her children, Monte Herzog of Great Falls, Mont.,Terry Herzog of Great Falls, Mont., Dustin Herzog (Monica) of Las Vegas, Nev. and Deryl Sandrock (Bryan) of Las Vegas, Nev. She had 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The family held a private wake at her children’s house in Las Vegas, Nev. No funeral services are being held at her request.
