Cork and Illdena Poppen from Spirit Lake go for a ride in the Old Settlers Day Parade. Their entry won the “Best Parade Theme Float.” Cork and Illdena volunteered with the Laura Ingalls Wilder Pageant and have played Ma and Pa Ingalls numerous times. Illdena is also our correspondent from Spirit Lake.
