Spirit Lake update


Spirit Lake Presbyterian Church Service Sunday at 10:30 a.m., 88.1 FM Radio, Live Facebook. Corn silage cutting continues in the area. Severe wind damage to the area north of us, along with rain.

Monday, Cork and Illdena visited Arlan and Ramona Warwick of Watertown after doctor appointments.

Children in the area will begin school classes Monday in Willow Lake.

Football games are well under way in area schools.

Several attended the Agtegra Customer Appreciation Supper at Willow Lake Park on Tuesday evening.

‘Tis the season for all those delicious fruits, peaches, pears, cherries, garden tomatoes and other garden produce. Some preserved for later use; others devoured as much as we can.

Duane Poppen attended a volleyball game in Huron Thursday evening where his granddaughter Kylie played. He returned home after the game.

Rain in my gauge Thursday measured two inches.
