Student of the Month:

Gabriel Voges

What is your favorite subject and why?

My favorite subject in school is science, because it’s something I love to learn more about. I love doing labs. 

Why is school important to you?

School is important to me so I can learn, make friends and get to college. 

Who do you look up to and why?

I look up to my mom, dad and my whole family. They teach me life lessons. 

What do you aspire to be when you grow up? 

When I grow up, I want to be a doctor and a part-time artist.  Hopefully, I will be eligible to be an archaeologist if I can’t be a doctor. 

7th Grade

Lyric Barth

What is your favorite subject and why? 

Math is cool! I enjoy math because it’s my most confusing subject! 

Why is school important to you? 

School is important to me, so that I can get a job! 

Who do you look up to and why? 

I look up to my parents. They have always been there for me. 

What do you aspire to be when you grow up? 

When I grow up…I’m not really sure, but maybe a zoologist. 

8th Grade
Student of the Month:

Rexton Blue

What is your favorite subject and why? 

I like social studies because Mr. Beehler is good at explaining, and I also like lunch. 

Why is school important to you? 

School is important because I will need to know things when I grow up to do what I want to do such as get a degree in college for broadcasting. I also get to see my friends. 

Who do you look up to and why? 

I look up to my mom and dad because they do lots of stuff for my siblings and I.  Also, I look up to Dustin Wagner and Dustin Riedel because they stive to make you and your team better. 

What do you aspire to be when you grow up? 

When I grow up, I want to be a sports broadcaster!

Samantha Torguson

What is your favorite subject and why? 

I enjoy history. I find history fascinating because it shows where we come from and how we got to where we are today. 

Why is school important to you? 

School is a steppingstone in life. It teaches us how to be responsible and manage time. It also teaches us how to be kind and respectful to others and ourselves. 

Who do you look up to and why? 

I enjoy ride-alongs with law enforcement personnel.  I aspire to be as courageous and determined one day. 

What do you aspire to be when you grow up? 

.I aspire to be the best person I can be. I want to do whatever I can to help the people around me.

Toby Arbeiter

What is your favorite subject and why? 

My favorite subject is psychology.  I am interested in learning about how and why people act or function the way they do. 

Why is school important to you? 

School is important to set way for my future. 

Who do you look up to and why? 

I look up to Coach Riedel. He has a very good relationship with his team and has a similar career path that I wish to pursue. 

What do you aspire to be when you grow up? 

I would like to pursue a career in athletic training or perhaps be a chiropractor.
