‘Work hard early on so you don’t stress later’

Sierra Michelle Kogel will be a 2021 graduate of Iroquois High School.

Sierra is the daughter of Josh Kogel, Cavour, and Sheri Kogel, Huron. Throughout high school, Sierra has been involved in the following:

Activities: IPAT, ICLUB, Spanish Club, Band, Chorus, All-State Chorus Alternate,

FFA, Class President, Girls State Delegate and Drama.

Sports: Basketball, Volleyball, Cheerleading and Track and Field

Honors: National Honor Society and Honors Student/roll.

One of Kogel’s favorite school memories will be spending time with her classmates during open periods, enjoying their last days together.

“I would like to be remembered as a strong leader and a person they enjoyed being friends with,” stated Kogel.

One of Koegel’s greatest accomplishments in school is being an honor roll student throughout high school.

“My advice to younger classmen is to work hard early on, so you don’t have to stress and work harder in the future,” stated Kogel.

In her free time, Sierra enjoys drawing and designing tattoos, playing video games and spending time with her friends and family.

Currently, Sierra’s plan after high school is to attend Black Hills State University to work toward a degree in psychology.
