And they’re off!


The Divers and Bulldogs opened their cross-country season at the Don Ray Invitational outside White on Sat., Aug. 28, where 16 schools competed. It was an unusual day for weather, starting off cloudy and humid, but by the time the first race of varsity girls was finishing, it became sunny and quite warm. Then, the wind started to pick up, the clouds rolled back in and brought some drizzle rain as the third race was concluding.

Overall, the athletes had good weather to run in for their first meet of the year with great competition.
