‘Don’t be afraid to try new things or activities’

Justin Bryan Bice will be a 2021 graduate of Iroquois High School in May. Justin is the son of Wesley and Starla Bice of Yale, S.D.  Throughout high school, Justin has been involved in the following:

Activities: FFA
Sports: football, basketball, track & field
Honors: NHS

One of Justin’s favorite memories was making it to the State Convention in FFA.

“I enjoyed doing something new and made great memories with my officer team,” states Bice.

The person he admires most is his dad, Wesley.

“He has sacrificed so much for my family,” said Bice. “He works hard to make sure we have everything we need to succeed in life, and I could never thank him enough. He has taught me so many things and given me so much advice; it will definitely last a lifetime.”

After graduation, Bice will miss sports and activities the most.

“After working hard at something and playing a sport for so long, you really, in a way, fall in love with what you do. You create a bond with the people and your teammates. I would like to be remembered as someone people could trust and confide in.”

“My advice to younger classmen is don’t be afraid to try new things or new activities and never be afraid to fail at something you do; tomorrow is always a new day, and it’s only high school,” states Bice.

Bice has enlisted in the United States Air Force.
