I’m constantly looking for new recipes for myself and to share with my Pampered Chef people on Facebook (Amy’s Pampered Peeps). I’ve signed up with numerous places that are constantly emailing me new recipes, and whenever I find a good recipe, I make sure to save it and share it with my “Peeps.”
With the 4th of July soon approaching, I’ve been searching for some good recipes to share that would be easy to whip up for gatherings with friends and family over the holiday. The recipe I’m sharing this week immediately caught my eye, because it’s easy and nice and cool for what sounds like will be a very hot weekend.
This recipe is great because the majority of the ingredients I already had on hand. The graham cracker crust was the only thing I had to get. After that it was easy as pie to whip this one up.
If you have a bigger gathering, you could easily make this for a crowd. I would make a graham cracker crust in a 9 x 13 pan, and then double or triple the other ingredients depending on how thick you’d like it to be. Then to make it look a little fancier, I would top it with whip cream just before serving and sprinkle a little extra toasted coconut on top.
I think this would be a great dessert to make not only for the 4th of July holiday, but anytime you want to make a quick dessert. It comes together really fast, and it’s delicious. Enjoy!
