Improvement Corp holds meeting

The Oldham Area Improvement Corp. (OAIC) hosted a time for members of the community to gather on Sun., March 20. The 4:00 event started with those of all ages playing bingo with various gift cards handed out for prizes. Supper was then served to the nice-sized crowd in attendance, over which much visiting was taking place.

A brief annual meeting of the OAIC followed, at which time President Connie Bickett shared with the new community members present what the OAIC is, how it got started and all the many ways it's been involved supporting and improving the Oldham community.

The secretary’s report was read by Sandy Smith with Katie Eide making a motion to accept and second by Norma Jean Steeneck. Paul Johnson gave the treasurer's report with Marilou Scheafer making a motion to accept and second by Annitta Misar. Both reports were approved as read.

There was no old business. In new business the group decided to host another event in the Oldham City Park in June.

Holly Bickett made a motion to adjourn the meeting, with a second by Jeanette DeKnikker. All approved, and the motion carried.
