The Spirit Lake Presbyterian Church holds indoor as well as drive-up services at 10:30 a.m. each Sunday. Services are also livestreamed on the church Facebook page. Adult Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m. The Rev. Dick Poppen speaks at 9:30 a.m. every Sunday over KWAT radio. The Christmas program service takes place Dec. 20, and Christmas Eve service is scheduled for 8 p.m.
Jeremy and Jamie Forbes are the parents of a baby boy born Dec. 1. He weighed six pounds, 12 ounces and has been named Grady Virgil. He joins a sister, Tabor, and brother Briggs.

I can’t believe the weather! We still have green grass in December. Santa may have to use a pickup instead of his sleigh. Yes, I know the weather can change very quickly. At least let’s enjoy it while it lasts.
