Tough losses in return to the court

After a long break from taking on an opponent on the court, the Lady Bulldogs met up with the Sioux Valley Cossacks on Tues., Jan. 26. The game was a quick-paced one that had the Lady Bulldogs moving the ball around well and stopping most of the Cossack's offensive attempts. Sioux Valley was able to stay in the game by making two 3-pointers at the end of the second quarter.

During the second half, the Cossacks came out aggressively on both of ends of the court and pulled the score within five points halfway through the third quarter. The Cossacks continued to be quick and aggressive, especially defensively, giving the Lady Bulldogs a tough time at getting the ball across half court. The fourth quarter was back and forth, with both teams trying to get the points on board.

The Lady Bulldogs were led by Kennadi Buchholz with 20 points and eight rebounds. The Cossacks were led by Abbie Schneider with 13 points.
