Visit four counties in five-minute hike


A Thanksgiving turkey dinner was delivered to Adeline Reilly by the Dean Reilly family of Iroquois.

The Dunham girls, representing the Iroquois American Legion, conducted the military rites Wednesday at the services for William Maas.

The Mark Aughenbaugh children were at Grandma Vicki Aughenbaugh’s house Wednesday night to make Christmas cookies.

Lori Wehlander visited her daughter, Hannah Wehlander, at Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell this past week.

Pheasant hunter report is fair, and deer hunters report good success.

The Travis and Michelle Bornitz family attended the Iroquois School Christmas Program last Thursday; Michelle’s first grade class was part of the program.

Esmond township is one of the few four corner areas in South Dakota where you can drive to our southwest corner, take a five-minute hike, and you have been in four different counties. - Kingsbury, Beadle, Sanborn and Miner.
