“A Christmas Thought”

The hustle and bustle of Holiday has passed away.

And we remember the events of Christmas Day.

Holiday cheer, gifts and presents for all,

And greetings were sent to all we recall.

Perhaps we forget what this season truly is,

It’s the birth of Christ Child and the day truly His.

So, think of the blessings each of us do receive,

A gift freely given if we truly believe.

So, when we are bogged down with everyday news,

Of COVID and storms, and everyday news.

Think of the gift He has given to you,

Peace on Earth, and a Savior, too.
