Nathan McKee, fourth-grade student teacher at Iroquois Elementary School, enjoyed a high five from all the students who lined up on his last day as he left the building. He always played ball with the children at recess, connecting with them all. McKee was also an assistant football coach for the Iroquois/Lake Preston Sharks. McKee will be graduating from Dakota Wesleyan in December of 2022 with a degree in elementary education.

The Iroquois Elementary School kindergarten class made Johnny Appleseed hats and cooked up a pot of homemade applesauce. They got to snack on their applesauce, Apple Jacks and apple juice. A good time was had by all.

Legion has been busy!
Iroquois School District hosted an open house with 250-300 people in attendance, where students and their families emptied backpacks into lockers, met teachers and visited with friends. Families enjoyed beautiful weather, supper and bean bag games. The school served hamburgers and hotdogs. Water bottles were furnished by Helena Ag, and the Iroquois Booster Club served watermelon. Student organization leaders were available to recruit members and answer questions.Kaylee Morehead signs up students for IHS' award-winning HOSA.
